IELTS is the gateway to many dreams.
I’m sure if you are reading this, you have your own dream for you, and maybe also your family, and IELTS is the thing that you need to unlock those dreams.
So, if IELTS is the key, then you need to take it very seriously indeed.
I am sure that you have really researched your ‘dream’:
- What do you need to do to achieve it?
- What are the steps?
- Which papers do you need to prepare?
- Who do you need to speak to?
- What money will you need to save?
And IELTS? Remember it is the key, yet many people don’t really appreciate the ability of this test to block you absolutely from moving forward and achieving your dream.
I need Band 7 or Band 8 – this is not the easiest thing to achieve and all on one day!
What I want to say really is don’t dismiss IELTS as just a little English exam. It is not that easy to get high band scores and you need to put in work to get there.
So here are some other questions that you might need to factor in:
- How good is my English?
- How can I check it and see how much I need to study?
- How much time should I allow to achieve my IELTS goal?
- How much money should I allocate to getting some help to achieve my goal?
These questions will help you to avoid disappointment and more importantly an endless round of tests – believe me I have met students who have taken the test over 20 times and this could all have been avoided with a little practical planning at the outset.
If you want to talk about your IELTS as part of your dream. I’m happy to explore this with you.
