About IELTS Learning Tips

Hi there,

My name is Berni Wall.  I created this site because I want to help you get band 7 or 8 in your IELTS exam.

I started to work with IELTS students about 20 years ago and since then I have helped hundreds of students to get high bands in their exam and now I want to help you too. 

I started my career as an English Language teacher in September 1977 in Medan Indonesia. I taught at the University of North Sumatra where it was my job to develop the English language skills of university lecturers and postgraduate students.

Since then I have worked in various institutions both overseas and in the UK working with students, like you who want to create a better and bigger future for themselves and their families.

I have seen many many students achieve their band 7 and 8 scores and move on with their lives.

• I know how important this exam can be to you when your whole future depends on getting that score.
• I know how frustrating it can be when your scores don’t meet your target
• And I know how you can lose confidence when you don’t get what you want in the exam

But, I also know how to fix this and support you so that you WILL get your score and move on with our life.

Another reason that I can really help you with your IELTS is that I used to be an IELTS examiner so I really know what IELTS examiners are looking for.

Since 2010 I have been developing online programmes for IELTS – the reason I started to do this is because I know that you may not be able to come to the UK to study with me and you may not be able to find a good IELTS teacher locally so I want to use all my skills in IELTS to help you to get your score using these amazing online tools such as Skype that let me teach you easily in the comfort of your home or office.

Many of these courses give you access to me and my fantastic team of experienced IELTS teachers and with our support I know that you can be successful and get the band score that you want.

I know this because so many of my students have ALREADY done this.

I still teach IELTS here in the UK. So if you are living in the UK now or able to come here then there is a great opportunity to study with me face to face. In my IELTS workshops (each one is a maximum of 4 students) we spend 6 hours every day for a week just on IELTS – these workshops are great fun as well as really successful! You will stay here with me too so you can spend lots of time immersed in English and working on your IELTS.
