Having a plan for your IELTS can make ALL the difference to your success

I’ve spoken about this before in posts, in Live videos and in posted videos.

If you have a plan of action that you follow each and every day which is organised, dedicated, easy to do and certain to develop both your English and IELTS skills then how can you not pass your IELTS with flying colours?

Knowing each day exactly what you need to do, making sure you cover all bases including things like vocabulary development and grammar as well as practising the parts of the IELTS test. It is all important and it all adds up to your success in the exam.

It isn’t easy to ensure that you cover everythi8g. Most people just do test practice and yes, you can see your listening scores increase and if you are lucky your reading scores go up too but what about writing? Or speaking? I spoke to an IELTS student today who has two weeks before his exam and he is very worried because although he is confident about the listening test his reading is very up and down and as to writing, he has absolutely NO idea if he is at the right level or not. He has not had anybody check his writing and has not even done more than a couple of tasks – in effect he is going into his IELTS writing test completely blind.

This is quite scary! Imagine going into an exam and simply crossing your fingers and hoping it will be ok. You may be lucky, but if you are not (and I really don’t believe in luck as a strategy for IELTS – skill is much better) then you may have to start all over again. You might miss the deadline for your submission date for university, you may pass an age limit for your visa application and have to get an even higher score or wait yet another year before you can begin your career in your destination country. All of these are sad events but it really doesn’t have to be like this.

If you are really well-prepared and ready for your IELTS then you can go with confidence knowing that you are mentally ready and able to achieve the score you want. It may take some serious study initially, it may take more time than you want and it may take a little investment (but it could save you lots of test fees!!) but in the end dedicating this time, effort and money will be worth it when you are working in your new job, watching your children start their new school career, enjoying your postgraduate university course or choosing a brand new home in a brand new country!!

So stop meandering through the mire of endless internet content not knowing if it will be useful or not until you have wasted several hours on it. Choose a path that will deliver you regular, daily IELTS practice that is designed to move you forwards in a systematic way. You should also have support so that if you get stuck there is someone to help you, to ask questions of and set you back on track.

So, I wanted to tell you about my IELTS Step By Step course which does all of this and much more 😊

A lesson every day – 72 in total covering all the parts of the test. I’ll be there to help when you need it, to look at your writing, help you with speaking, answer your questions.

It looks as though IELTS exams will largely be cancelled so here is an opportunity for you to spend some time making sure that when they come back on stream you’ll be ready and prepared. Just like all the successful students who have already completed this programme and moved on.

I would really love you to join me in IELTS Step By Step and am making it as easy as possible for you with a special offer.
